60p for a can of Diet Coke from the machine at work.
Yes, I know I should bring stuff from home but it's bad enough getting up early for work on a Sunday but to remember to pack things into a bag as well???I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. I was going to spend £1.85 at the swimming pool but it was the leisure centre's first anniversary so everything was free!
Hurrah for North Hertfordshire District Council for building the leisure centre in the first place and having free days! You can remind me of this when my council tax goes up next year:D0 -

Well, just as an update, we just got back from the pub! I did a fab roast, even if I say so myself, baked a wonderful victoria sponge and then the sun came out and OH dragged me kicking and screaming to the pub  OK maybe not so much kicking or screaming but he got us two rounds and then we walked back home. So I am still on a non spender but much more inebriated than anticipated:rotfl:

My first time on this thread!
Travelled 2 1/2 hours to see my Grandad in hospital today, thought I was being a great MSE'r packing some soup for me and hubby to take with us, then got stuck on M1 for 3 hours (really bad accident). I always believe you can't complain at things like that though because we weren't in the accident, wish the people well that were.
All the soup had gone and tummies rumbling! Had to come off and get some snacks at Tesco Express and spent £8, they wouldn't take any vouchers  I am really not used to spending money in Tesco without ANY vouchers!
Plus £1.50 on car parking at the hospital plus about 50p on a Milky Way that my Grandad really fancied, so popped to the hospital shop to get it!
Went to Tesco in Halifax after the hospital though and spent £75 on shopping (including £60 HIFI to take back, for the extra 999 points) and got almost £50 off in vouchers. She would have taken more, but I thought I was pushing my luck (especially as taking the HIFI back)!!!
So can't really complain about my day! Also, Grandad a lot better, so happy MSE'r! :T
Petrol is a lot cheaper in Halifax too so filled up there!0
