    Used Up
    • Garnier root touch up hair dye
    • Bodyform ST’s
    • Wellman 50+ Vitamins 7 day trial pack (I’m neither male nor over 50 but I picked these up at a trade fair and I’m pretty sure all brands are just variations of multivitamins)
    • Biotherm aquasource moisturiser sample sachet (x2)
    • Pot of Nair microwave wax (I love this, really easy to use and not messy)
    • L’oreal Elvive citrus shampoo 12ml sample sachet
    • BLAX Hair elastics from HQhair (best thing ever, they don’t break my long hair)
    • Sample pot of Armani foundation
    • Five 3ml sample sachets of Yes to Tomatoes moisturiser (wouldn’t buy this)
    • CCS Foot cream full size 175ml
    • Toni + Guy heat protection spray 50ml
    • No7 Protect+Perfect serum 30 ml glass bottle
    • No7 Essential moisture Day cream 15ml
    • No7 Essential moisture Night cream 15ml
    Amount spent €124.47 :o
Almost €90 of this was spent on a trip to the hairdresser for a cut and colour, a box of daily disposable contact lenses and a replacement pot of Nair Wax. For me all 3 of these were essential. It still sounds like loads when compared with other people who spend nothing on beauty but this is a low as it could be for me.
    • The hair was half price because it was done by a trainee. I paid €60 and gave her a €5 tip so €65
    • I get the cheapest contact lenses (daysoft)
    • The cost of Nair microwave wax is minimal compared with salon waxing
    The other €35

    1st-12th July No purchases

I spent €15.49 buying the new L’oreal micro vibration eye cream because of the money back guarantee in Boots. I’ve already sent off the receipt and packaging for the refund and will deduct the refund from next months’ total. I don’t like it much anyway. The vibration so close to your eyes is uncomfortable. I only bought it because it’ll be free provided they honour the money back guarantee.

I bought the Umberto Gianni backcomb in a bottle spray in the new funky black bottles (1/3 off at Boots). That doesn’t seem to do what it says on the pack either.

Got Time Delay day cream, night cream and serum on Boots Clearance and used the skincare vouchers. Total price paid for all 3 items was €3.26. If I’d had more vouchers I’d probably have ended up with a lifetimes supply. Again it’s not something I’d buy at full price but at that price it’ll be perfect for alternating with more expensive things.

Resisted the new Body Shop hair products (but I did get some free samples) I LOVE the smell of these but I definitely don’t need shampoo.

I posted 4 pairs of tweezermans for the free sharpening service. I hope they arrive back safely but if not they were pretty useless anyway—old and over used.
I got a few really nice things for free.
    • My mother bought me an Elizabeth Arden visible difference moisturiser (the big pot that’s often on offer at Debenhams) and she insisted on giving me the GWP (gift with purchase) as well. She buys me the odd treat because she feels sorry for me paying the mortgage and bills on my own. That was so nice of her and I really, really appreciate it.
    • I got a huge 400ml bottle of Clarins toner (the 100% extra free promotion bottle). This would have been good value for €19.50 but I paid with Boots advantage points so free.

    Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65
    Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31
    CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€500

    Hi all,

No major purchases - really helps to avoid Boots etc I find!

No major use ups at the moment. On last splutterings:

Aveda colour care shampoo and conditioner - WIBA no. The smell is lovely but the quality isn't there. If anything it makes my hair frizzier.

Clarins toner, yellow one - WIBA no. I prefer the extra comfort one. This is nice too though. I got it as part of a gift with purchase set. So if a freebie clearly would not say no.

Must sort my make up bags today. I have several around with odd things in.

Defo want one in the car - not to apply at the traffic lights though! Unlike some woman who I saw putting lippy on yesterday. The previous day I saw her driving the parts van she impatiently bumped up a kerb onto the pavement right in front of shops where anyone could have come out and not seen her - she really let the sisterhood down with that. :o

    Happy pampering all :A

No more Use Ups to report, but sadly one body lotion purchased. I bought a Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion as it was on offer - bad me! Here's hoping I can get this going again in August as the make up drawer and my dressing table shelf is looking a lot more streamlined.

Cheers sweetie, :j I targeted all the minis and samples and things on their last few uses. I'll need a new strategy for August though. Plus now I have gaps that I'll need to fill at some point. :o

I can't quite understand how I bought nine things when I was aiming to buy none! Clearly I got confused! ;):o:D

UU - Original Source Shea Butter and Honey shower gel - WIBA? Yes! It was absolutely gorgeously scented and left my skin soft and smooth even after shaving!

I slipped and got an Aussie Mega shampoo and conditioner in Asda £3 each, but I will need them soon, my Elvive is getting low-thank goodness. Why did I swap from my fave, Aussie? Never again!

Won't need anything in August, my stash overfloweth
