Another 2 UU's for me - Aussie smooth mate shampoo and miracle moist conditioner - I've never finished both shampoo and conditioner at the same time before
WIBA - probably not - still not found my wonder cure for really really greasy hair
Have you ever tried the Tresemme deep cleansing shampoo? I have really greasy roots and it seems to work well for me.
A UU - the Malmaison body lotion, at last! Moved onto an Elle MacP body butter now.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -
Also, for anyone that got the Elle MacPherson handbag set at Xmas from Boots, do you know whether you can get the pulse point oil seperately? I'm addicted to it but can't seem to find it anywhere except Ebay
If not, any good alternatives?

Glad you like it too! I now wish I had bought more (after waiting so long to try it in the first place!) :rotfl:Got a £10 Boots voucher from doing surveys so have dutifully spent it on enough essentials to last a good few weeks.
Well done with getting essentials :T - that is what I try to do with vouchers I get from surveys as well.
I realised this morning that I don't have any of the following things in my stockpile any more (or haven't done for quite a while) and buy on a "when I need it" basis now: hairspray, deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, cotton wool, eye make up remover and hand wash/liquid soap. OK well I guess it doesn't look that impressive written down, but it is progress.:rotfl:
UUs this morning -
Body Shop Cassis Rose Shower Gel - WIBA? Maybe when on offer. Nice and light, not too floral and very gentle to skin.
Philosophy When Hope is not Enough Vitamin E/C neck & decollete cream - WIBA? Hmmmm probably not. Nice and moisturising but expensive. For hot weather I think I prefer the Avon Planet Spa neck serum, as its lighter and doesn't leave any sticky feeling. I bought two of those from Avon in the last book, so will move on to one of those next.
Have found a Body Shop Passion Fruit shower gel to use up next, and I'm coming to the end of a small Body Shop Vitamin E day cream, so will need to raid my stash again soon - yay! I really need to paint my toenails today - am thinking a nice bright coral (I have a very faded lilac on at the moment).
Happy Pampering everybody.

I haven't tried this one Lilian although I have tried other Tresemme's. Look out for me in superdrug tomorrow - I'll be in the shampoo aisle
Whilst my roots make me look like chip pan Annie :rotfl: my ends are very dry (shoulder length hair) so need a conditioner too - is there one that goes with this shampoo?
ps - I promise to still UU my other shampoos even though Lilian is leading me astraySave money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

How and ever, I have one and I really don't like the scent of lavender (much more a frankincense and geranium girl myself!), so you're more than welcome to have it, if you want. It's only been opened to smell it. Just PM me if you do
I also have an unopened S&G fab pore thingy which I despise (and one that is opened but has only had a little bit taken out to try, dunno why!? But I don't suppose anyone is interested in that) which i'd be more than happy to send out. I know it's against the rules though, so if anyone asks you where you got it, you don't know a thing  :rotfl:
Oh, and on top again!
I used up the Toni & Guy shampoo, gentle cleansing for heat treated hair. WIBA? Well, it came in the form of a pressie, so I didn't buy in in the first place. I liked it - the smell is divine  - but I think my hair's gotten used to it now0 -
Finished off a toner the other day. I now only have 3 in my stash. Toner is something I don't really stock up on and probably 2 out of those 3 are the LE ones I got when I bought the TSVs.
Hoping to finish a perfume off in the next couple of days. Really pleased at how quickly I'm getting through those :jDid owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Hiya
just a couple uuof to report
Radox Naturals daily mineral scrub WIBIA not really was at the back of the cupboard for a couple of years, not sure if its still made, not very scrubbie if you know what I mean.
Sanctuary Creme Brulee WIBIA absolutely no way it was a big pot, again was in the back of the cupboard, and again not sure you can still get it. I used to love Sanctuary stuff but this was sooooooo very sweet. Had been using it for 4 days before I gave up and binned it. Not good as a body moisturiser, but worst than that I could smell it all day and was getting increasingly worried that all the WASPS would be attracted to me.
Yesterday went through make up stash, well the telly was rubbish, and binned several eye liners. WIBIA No, as time has gone by am getting increasing hooded eyes part of the ageing process I'm afraid, no eyeliner seems to be able to stay were I put it and the black eyed look is not good for me. This with having to ware glasses all the time seems to have made finding a mascara that stays on the eyes and not give me a rather fetching panda eye look......so I got rid, as well as binning 3 miniature mascaras, you know the ones that tend to come in the gift offers or bonus offerers in Debs.
Tomorrow I will go through the nail vanishes. Some of those I have I'm not sure suite me any more, and they are not really as easy to get away with in my new job.
Will report back as I have over 30 different bottles.:o0 -

Oooh, reference the freebie, does it come with the magazine or is there a coupon inside that you have to redeem in store/by post?
I'm feeling tempted....0 -

FMG I would imagine it's a coupon that you have to redeem in store, the last offer was the Organic Surge eye gel and that was a coupon for Boots.0
