Just read 4nabellas post above saying she had 6 months and I was thinking it couldn't be right as that would mean I've got 4 months, I swaer it was 6 months last week  I'm not even sure if I'm on track with everything

    :rotfl:

27th November was the date we were originally looking at, until we found our venue and it was only available on 15th January.

It's going so quick anyway, 27 weeks today! Only 20 weeks for you Lexxi!

How come you were going to go for that date, a few people thoght it was a bit weird as far as wedding dates go?

:rotfl::rotfl:Don't worry hun, it'll come together! I've still got jewellery, music, readings, photographer, hair/make-up, bridesmaid dresses, groom's/best man/ushers/dad's outfits to sort... Feels like I've got sooooooooo much to do... Oh, and invitations...

Basically we knew we didn't want a long engagement, so sort of agreed on the end of the year. As both mine and OH parents are being incredibly generous and pretty much funding the whole day, we don't have to spend years saving up so we figured we may as well just go for it. Then we had to narrow it down a bit as we've got some family coming from Australia, so it became either November or January. Some of the venues we looked at first were available at the end of November, but then we found/fell in love with Dodmoor House and it was only available on the 15th January.

You've got an extra 2 months on me! :rotfl:None of the suits are sorted, or OHs ring, I think pretty much everything that I need an opinion/decision on is still needed to be done! I'm obviously not as BZ as I need to be ;):D

We pretty much had the same idea re the date, wanted to get married this year and not have a long engagement but couldn't get married in december and didn't want a scorpio wedding (long story) so 27th it was !

Argh, rings!! I need to get a wriggle on and order mine cos I've got to get a custom-made one to fit around my engagement ring which is this kind of shape, although that's not the exact one. The shop my OH bought it from does custom made ones as well but it takes a few months so need to do it sooner rather than later...

Oh Kayleigh, you are now top of the list!!! I have edited to show the fabulous days that have passed and you have now reached the top! Not long for you now!!!

Not long now, no! I can't wait, I just have so much to do on the run up to the wedding although our wedding is nearly all done besides a few minor tweaks. The other stuff is more stressful!!! Hehe!

Welcome to Bride2be24, frannyann, Lexxi and hurricanewyn! You have all been added!

We have another date twin - Lexxi is getting married on 27/11/10 and malamay is also getting married in North Lincolnshire on the same day!!!

I can't believe how many of us there are out there, and there are obviously far more that we have seen in the passing but aren't listed. I thought we would have had a lot more date twins, especially for the summer months but it hasn't come out that way!

Lexxi and 4nnabella, please don't panic, you will both get there and everything will fall into place. Set yourselves a little timetable that you want to have each thing done by and try as hard as you can to get it done! Crikey my own isnt until 2012 but I nearly have all my flowergirl wands made already and starting on the buttonholes soon (amazing what you can do when sitting infront of the tv with a bottle of wine!!!).

I keep sitting in front of the tv with the laptop, that's my problem! :D
I've got the excel wedding budget spreadsheet and have created a new tab with a mammoth to do list on with each venue, person etc and then each detail for each section of the wedding :rotfl:
I think I'm pretty much on track, just the cake I don't have a clue about, trying to size/price things up now

He doesn't mind if I'm quiet, it's when I start trying to get his opinion on stuff or show him pics whilst he's trying to watch something! :D
