Well... we have set a date!!!

Easter Monday, 9th April, 2012!!!

We have booked the church and I have asked my Godfather, who was vicar at my church until he retired in 2008, to do the ceremony, so we've made a start!

Cannot WAIT!!!

hi all, still not found a venue as we have now ruled out beamish hall due to the cost.
looked at a localish pub nearby which is a very old pub but they've just been taken over so they haven't got any prices for weddings etc yet but they should be emailing it to us in the next few weeks.

Emz - congrats on setting the date. I know how special it will be for you if your godfather can do the honours as my grandad did my dad and stepmums blessing for them, makes it all that extra special!

Please can I join the club? We're getting married on 30th April 2011 less than 6 months to go-yipee!! However, I am slightly more disorganised than everyone else seems to be and have still got a lot to organise..! Oh well, the church is booked and the H2B knows where to be and when, so nothing else really matters I suppose!

I'm sure things will start coming together soon. I'm currently trying to work out ways to cut our budget down a bit and see what we can do without but it's very difficult as its just about as minimal as it can get!!!

I hope malamay and Lexxi have both had a wonderful day today! Wondering if it snowed for them, if now I'm sure I could have arranged for some to be delivered down to them to make their pics spectacular and it would clear the road slightly to I could get home tomorrow!

Well, I have changed my signature and taken out my wedding date, and also taken myself out of the first post. There have been a few issues lately and I felt like the whole world smacked me in the face yesterday and put me on a complete downer. I have had to face facts and it doesn't look like OH is going to be divorced in time for our date as NOTHING is underway again yet - he should have been divorced by now in reality, and because of that it looks unlikely that we will be able to save enough money in time. My mum bought her outfit last week so at the moment all I have in my head is him getting divorced, and then us arranging to get the kids and our parents together one day and disappearing off to do the deed. It is up to us how we want our day and I know it will disappoint a lot of people but right not I'm disillusioned with the whole thing

The club will still be ongoing tho!!!!
