My problem is that my new surname starts with the same letter as my maiden name, so I am going to automatically want to sign my maiden name. I think it's going to take me a while to learn to sign my new name! Better start practising now...

Love the description! Mine will only shorten by one letter, and the last two will be the same so just need to remember to start looping at the start and get the loops right!!!
Maybe I should make it easy for me and difficult for him and get him to change instead........NOT

Hi all :wave: me and DP have decided to get married in 2012, we were going to get married 18.04.2009 but I was in the middle of degree then we had some unexpected bills so it was cancelled (luckily all we'd done was book the registry office)
However we are struggling to choose a date, the original date was during my easter hols from uni so it's not as if it was a special date.

Possible dates are 29.07.12 as it's our anniversary of meeting, 12.09.12 as it's a different kind of anniversary ,
10.11.12 as I like the way the date sounds
or 12.12.12 so it's easier for DP to remember:rotfl:, he's hopeless with dates, he can't even remember our kiddiwinkles birthdays he gets all confused and asks me when they are, although if he's on his own he usually puts their due dates when filling in forms :doh:

I do know what dress I'm gonna have and colour theme etc just need final venue chosen.
DP has his heart set on a beamish hall hotel which granted looks stunning but also comes with the price tag to match.

However we have been living together for 16 years, have three kiddie winkles and have a smallish mortgage on our own house so it's not as if we then have to have the money to do all these things so maybe we can warrant spending a bit more on the wedding

Hi loonylamb and kdalwayskint! Will add you to the list when I get home as being 2012! Loony, my alternative date depending on how things go is 10/11/12!!! We might end up being twins!!!

well, the date has been decided partly due to practicality with family working during the week and being over 300 miles away we have decided on 29.07.12. as it's a sunday
it will be our 18th anniversary of meeting then too so a double celebration :j
woooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooo now I can start planning and paying and being a complete wedding bore yay:T:rotfl::D

I've got 4 weeks and my todo list isn't getting any shorter!!! But its my hen night tonight then me and my mum are going to start finalising things with very sore heads on Monday! !!

Hi All!
I've been soooo bad not keeping this uptodate! I've hardly been around for the last week or so with one thing and another but that's no excuse!!
Since I last saw the thread we have had the wonderful wedding of missknixon and her pics were great! Looks like a wonderful day was had by all!
Next weddings are date twins malamay and Lexxi on 27/11/10 unless there are anymore out there before then that I don't know about!
Hope all the plans are coming along great girls
