Could you try another bank? You will get the money back for the original honeymoon won't you? If you're able to get a loan then pay it off with the money you get back from the original honeymoon it won't matter on the interest will it? Hope you get it sorted

I am going to try on Saturday when the OH is home. Yeah we will defo get the money back, but we will have to wait up to a year for it! Well this is the plan, going to try getting a Credit Card and then use the same logic. We shall see, thanks though!! :)

Still feel okay - not nervous or stressed yet. Although our honeymoon fell through Monday, had a phonecall through the firm that we booked the holiday with and apparently our flights were under Goldtrail. So now, with 2 weeks to the day before we were due to go, I am having to have to go to the bank for a loan to get a new honeymoon :(.

Other than that everything's fine. Just waiting for him to get home and waiting to leave work next week so we can spend some quality time together.

For the actual morning it will be off to the hairdressers for hair and make up. Then we're getting marries at 2:30, so got to be ready at 1:30ish at the latest... So that's a nice time! Be nice to have everyone running round for me hehe :)

Aw Kayleigh just read the other posts, thats not so good. I hope you do manage to sort something out sooner rather than later. I'm sure I read somewhere, can't remember where though, that some travel agents have come good for the flights that they booked through Goldtrail as essentially the customer booked it as a 'package' and not two separate bookings. Might be worth a try.

I'm sure everything goes alright on the day. The wedding I helped with last week, trying to get everyones rear ends in gear was a nightmare! It was a 3pm wedding and could i get the bridesmaids out into the car? NO. Could I get the bride to move her butt? NO! The BMs got to the church at 3pm - just, and the bride was about 15 mins late by the time she came into the church. Everyone knew they weren't far away when I came in as I was the last guest in before the bridal party.

Was lovely though, and the bride had a wee tear or two saying her vows.

  • Why is it that in the run up to the wedding things seem to go wrong?!

On Tuesday my dress shop went into administration!! Luckily I had already picked up the bridesmaids dresses, but mine was still with them for alteration! After several frantic phone calls and a lot of tears I was finally reunited with my dress on Thursday, such a relief!!
  • I know what you mean LR my cake maker has decided they can't do the cake now so i am stuck without one at the moment

  • Oh no, do you have a back up?

I also had my make up artist cancel on me.. she isnt very well so i've decided to do my own make up! Not quite so much of a drama as the dress situation though!
