Hey MrsC...tobe, can you add me to the list. Myself and H2B have set our date for 1st June 2012 - would've liked to have been 2011 as it would've been my mum and dad's 50th anniversary - sadly he passed away 17 years ago. Mum is happy we've picked that date though so here's to the next 22 months of saving and planning!

Welcome Swinstie! Sounds like a great idea getting married on that date, but you have chosen to be practical about it and gone for the following year. Your Mum will be delighted I'm sure!

Hoping that Kayleigh had a wonderful day on Saturday. If she had the weather that we had it will have been a gorgeous day, can't wait to see her pics

Not been around much as I've been on holiday but I picked up the patterns for my flowergirl dresses on Saturday, just got to get the material bought for them now and get them all put past. That reminds me, OH will be home from work soon and the patterns are on the table - must go hide them!!!

Thanks everyone, had a fantastic day! I am still waiting for the photos to come back from the photographer (hoping they come tomorrow). I shall upload some then

I also had an amazing honeymoon in Rome, it was absolutely amazing and even more gorgeous than I remembered it! I couldn't have had a better day and evening, everything was perfect!!

Hey Mrs C,

Can you please change my date from 1/6/12 to either the 18th or 19th Nov 2011? We've had too much hassle trying to decide the what's and where's that we decided to get married on the cruise we booked for next year. Unfortunately for us the cruise wedding slots are fully booked so the plan now is to arrive in Barbados, get our licence, get married there and then or else the next day before we set sail!

A nice family meal when we come home, even Mum is happy with that, in fact she told us to save our money and do it this way

Now need to go and take myself off the 2012 brides thread, boo!

Thanks Mrs C, only problem is it can't really be planned except buying a suitable outfit, guess it's a bit of an elopement really. Still hanging around the boards cos love everyone's ideas!

I'm sure you will still get great inspiration for your 'beach' wedding dress from the boards, and any accessories that you may need for you and your OH. I would love to disappear and get married somewhere hot and we would do it but I won't leave his kids behind as they have to be part of our special day too!
