Who's buying these things when dealers finish using them as courtesy cars?!

I can't believe anyone else buys them brand new, anyway :rotfl:

My wife bought one brand new and loved it. Three years of trouble free motoring, and very easy to drive, park etc.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

The driving position is just horrible though (although I am 6'1" lol)

So glad it's only for 24 hours :rotfl:

There's a brand new one coming out very very soon. Don't buy a new one at the moment!

That said, the new one looks seriously bland imo.

So long as you don't want to do more than 8 mph anywhere ;)

It has to be the worst car I've ever driven (even though it's quite high spec with bluetooth, a sat nav that's scared of motorways, etc)

I'm a young driver so I always get the crap of the day as a courtesy or hire car but this is just terrible

They will often end up in car supermarkets you know the kind of place. Offering six months old cars with 5k for £2k of list price.

Sometimes hire companies have holding companies which they register to the car too as well so its not always obvious its been a courtesy car.

Yeah I know how remarketing works, my point really was - who's buying them, because they're terrible :rotfl:

I imagine they're around the same price as every other supermini on the market? (ie Skoda Fabia, which is probably one of the best small cars I've driven)

They are horrible cars (both existing versions). You find some stupidity happening on the motorway and right at the front of it, chugging away at 20mph, what do you find? Some goon in a Micra!

I had one as a courtesy car once - it was so embarrassing, I'd never use that garage again.

:rotfl: it is embarassing - although you'll probably find the one I have in lane 3 of the motorway more often than you'll find it doing 20mph, it is hired after all

I mean I've nothing against cheap "white goods" motoring, but I'm sure there are far better cheap superminis out there
