Ahh, it would yes
it's a bit off a faff for me as i have to set it up, but then i just give the parcels to dh to take into work.
edited to say, me mum's puddy cat had to be pts today, just spoken to her she had to take her to the emergancy vet this morning, she's only just told me as she's been sobbing all day. Poor Molly, such a lovely thing she was. I feel all sad now, gonna go and have a cry now.
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Oh Sharron, sorry to hear that. Your poor mum, she will be heartbroken. (((hugs)))
Alex, I have a printer going spare if you need one? It won't work with a Mac, so I'll never be able to use it."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
Oh Sharron, that's so sad
Lou, that's such a kind offer! We do have a printer though, it's just never been out of the box cos we still haven't set up the pc properly. The shame of it, it's been nearly 18 months since we moved.0 -
Sharon -sorry to hear about the cat- we're not having much luck on here lately with our little pets.
Lost- good to hear from you- hope all is going well
Just trying to get DS's to bed - school holidays and they think theres a rule that says no bath, hairwashing or bedtime- smelly boys.;)
Pirate - I am assuming you were at the big camp at Harewood house were you? well I was looking out for you on the BBC breakfast programme:p ToyStory -don't want to spoil it for those who haven't yet seen it and want to - but for me it was the part when they all held hands ready for what they thought was going to happen:( so sad.:(
Think I'll have to pop to the gym tomorrow I've eaten sooooo much rubbish this weekend its unbelieveable.0 -
Just quickly dropping by.
Lost - good to see you and I hope all is going well at the new residence.
Queenie - sucks you can't get on the internet much. how exciting about the holiday though, you'll need to let us all know what you book.
Char - glad you had a good time at camp.
Sharron - sorry about the cat. you and your mam must be ever so upset, hugs.
Lola - it is so sad at that point in TS3!
Not much doing here. Just been popping things on freecycle and having a quick pick up. Gonna paint my toe nails then head to bed with a book I think.0 -
Lola, yeah that was the saddest part of the film.
No, not the harewood house one, we couldn't get places on that one as they went sp quickly, but ours was a three counties one, in ombudsley (just outside Worcester). About 800 girls there in the end I think, which was plenty!
Grr at eBay, alex. I came back to find another email trying to bribe me to refund the guy who bought the engine, and a negative fb as clearly I hadn't replied due to being away. That said, I wouldn't have been refunding him anyway since he was sp happy with them when he collected. Still frustrating tho.0 -
Morning,
My dentist trip was pretty successful. It only cost me £4 :j. I just have to accept that my tooth is now sensitive and rub sensodyne toothpaste into the base. Better that having it filled I suppose.
Sharon, so sorry to hear about your mums cat. I'd be lost if anything happened to my little moggy (I cried my eyes out when I had to get him neautered, he looked so sad)
I'm still chocked with the cold but luckily I managed to sweet talk my manager last night and I finished at 11. Only in Saturday night next week aswell, brill!! I'm in the office till 4 today but its really quiet which is good.
I managed to win a green high waisted RI skirt on eBay last night, will look good with a black bodysuit (need to buy one of those now :rotfl:)
Also trying to compose a list of MAC stuff that I will deffo buy on Wednesday, i'm thinking primer, foundation and concealer then i'll save up and buy the 3 eyeshadows, eyeliner, lipliner and lippie that I want. Managed to get a free delivery code which expires in October however I think I may spend over £50 which goves me free delivery anyway - oh well!
Hope everyones weekend is going well?Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
Morning all
Still in jammies- just setting DS1 up online with his xbox - bit technical for me but got there in the end. Nothing planned for today - just washing and chilling before I'm back to work tomorrow.
Have a great Sunday everyone.0 -
Afternoon Lovelies
Thank you for all the kind comments re Mum's Cat, she was 13, not old but she was lovely, never trusted anybody except the family and never went out, we used to say she suffered with her 'nerves'. I cried for ages last night, mum buried her in the garden and she said the hardest part was she just looked like she was asleep and still soft and warm. I didn't sleep well last night and dreamt that one of my dogs (my favorite) died. Dear me i do have to shake myself out of this!!
Mia, very exciting about your trip to the mac counter!!
Pf- some bloomin people are fools. I am glad you stood your ground and didn't give the money back.
Car booty this morning turned up a gorgeous pair of nine west flat shoes:T for a £1. also got ds some gap jeans and hoodies £1 each. I heard someone say it was the last one next week booooo!!
Wearing boyfriend jeans from sis, m&s silk top (sale) jacket from la redout that a have chopped the collar off and the arms. Quiet like what i had on today, felt casual but a bit chic:p
Alex, regaring your sofa drama, i was talking to dh and he said that whilst we were arguing in dfs our ds3 was shouting i need a p00!! So i think your little row would have gone unnoticed!!
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Hi everyone
Sorry to hear about your Mum's cat Sharron*hugs*
Having a lovely relaxing weekend! Its my weekend off and a long weekend as I've got three days annual leave next week so I have my days off as well - yay! Went to York yesterday with OH and it was a fab day (apart from getting caught in the rain - gah!) Havent done much today - we're going out soon to visit OH's Dad then to the pub
Earlier i had on pink and white cotton top (£4 in the BHS sale - ticket was showing £8 but when I got it to the till it was only £4!)
Black jeans (£20, Evans)
Pink and white socks (£1, Primark)
and my furry boots (£5, Primark)
Outfit's basically the same now except for the fact I'm wearing black cotton/lycra v-neck stretchy t-shirt (Rogers and Rogers at Matalan) my Oasis watch and Avon ring, and perfume is Avon Wish of Love.
Hope everyones had a good day!xx
