It was only 2 people's ironing
I don't think I've done any since mid/late June though - does that make it better or worse? Ah well, it's all done now and I'm a little better off. Plus I actually have some stuff in my wardrobe to choose from now.
Have parcelled up tons of ebay stuff as well but will have to go and invest in some giant jiffy bags at the Post Office tomorrow as some of the stuff is too big to go in any of the ones I have in my stash. So much effort to get it all sorted - don't know how you regular sellers do it!0 -
I get really pepped up as I start eBay-ing now on the third item...must...keep...going...0

Alex I go thru phases of getting so frustrated withthe whole selling thing that I don't sell anything for months as it does get rly annoying. But I do have everyone in the office save me their pakaging which means I've built up a nice cuphoardful.0

I ebay in fits and starts too, quite enthusiastically at first, then as the last dregs need to be posted, losing enthusiasm. Am about to go with another batch soon.
I mostly use recycled packaging, although will make more effort to present higher value sales well. Was it Sharron who pre-printed postage, never thought of doing that doh! Do you trust the kitchen scales?
Have been having more sucess selling "ordinary" clothes in twos and threes actually. Have had stuff that would only go for 99p each seems to get around £4 total if sold as two items together.0 -
I have lots of pretty dresses and that but are size 16-18's I don't think many people are interested!! x0

I've used as much recycled packaging as possible as I had bags full of jiffy bags in the wardrobe but I just can't fit some of the bulkier stuff in. Hope the Post Office isn't too busy tomorrow - don't think I'll be popular with my armful of parcels! Might try and knock off work half an hour early and go at 4.30pm as the queues are always awful first thing and at lunchtimes.0

Tea- i always look at dresses in that size but always get pipped at the post, so defo worth putting on fleabay. I always do it in fits and starts, depending on how dire the finnancial situation is
I ebayed like mad when i was on my no clothes challnege.
I also re-use packaging and i also buy the catalogue type bags from le bay.
Bronnie, yes the kitchen scales have never let me down, i have been printing postage through paypal for a couple of years.

Morning all, I've only been lurking these past few days as I haven't had much time on the computer.
Sharron, sorry to hear about your Mum's cat.
Just seen the Spencer Tunick photo in the paper but can't make Goan out. Everyone's painted from head to toe in black, blue, yellow or pink paint!0 -
Uninspiration must be in the air! I've just chucked on any old tat today - old jeans, red stripy Gap tshirt and cricket sweater (Primark). No jewellery and I haven't even brushed my hair yet!0
