Hi all
I've done loads of good shopping this weekend. Fabric shopped yesterday and have got so much lovely stuff including green toile de jouy fabric that I've wanted for years and yearsJust need to attempt making something to a pattern now! Hope it doesn't all go horribly wrong.
Got some size 14 skinny jeans yesterday, woop! I've worn them today and feel fab - found myself catwalking round Ikea :rotfl: Also weirdly I found a woolly hat and mittens set in the DP sale (in July?!) that I've liked since it went on sale there last year so snapped them up - £3 for both
Car booted this morning and got tons of books, a Lush giftset for £1, a vintage leather bag, a raffia type bag, some GHDs for £3 (hope they work!), a gorgeous M&S poppy print silk scarf and then for 50p each, a Dotty P green denim skirt and stripy top and a Primark beige jacket. Laid it out when I got back and it looks like a perfect outfit - all for £1.50And I saw Sharron and Queenie which was lovely! That's 4 MSE girls I've met this week - good going eh?
And I rounded off my spendthrifty afternoon with a trip to Ikea where I got lots of goodies including a new shoe rack, and then to the big M&S where I got a couple of bras in the sale. I'll give my debit card a rest for a few days now! Will blog everything at some point soon but I need to fix the layout/template first as it's a total mess at the moment.0 -

What a haul, queenie and alex-well done!! Was lovely to see you Alex, would have loved to have met Queenie too!!
Shoes seemed to be the order of the day bought three pairs all wedges, one pair was sadly too high for me, £1- per pair so not to worry, think the steve madden ones will sell well on Ebay!! I also picked up a lovely black shirt from m&s (think it was the same stall as you got the poppy scarf from alex) which looks fab on.
Queenie, i too get a bit nervous, i've met Alex twice this week and she is very articulate and well spoken and i found myself getting tounge tied (sorry Alex!!) i mean i am miss chatterbox so havn't a clue what's going on there!!
Lounging about in my pj's now after the biggest roast dinner ever, so glad the kids are off as i havn't the energy to iron school uniforms!!
Catch you all later!!
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Ugh. Having eBay nightmares here. Sold some motorbike parts for a friend, to someone who
picked them up and paid cash more than a week ago. And now he emails to say they are in bad condition so he wants a refund. But he saw them and was happy when he collected them so why should I pay him to change his
mind now?!0 -

I've had this before, tbh if he inspected them i would reply with a polite but firm 'sold as seen', maybe he's just trying it on?? Have you looked at his feedback??Sometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
