Sorry Alex no joy in RI. They didn't have the one you were after. Glad your new boots came!

Hope you're not kept busy until too late Char.

I'd do that MF and the longer it took the more I'd be determind to to it at home!

Definitely don't let morons ruin your day Mia!

Home now as food shop due in the next 2 hours. Need to wash the windows as well while it's a nice day.

Hmm, I may just do that tomorrow then. Am planning a little fabric shopping trip as a just-been-paid treat and I may as well dress up for it :D

The shoes are nice but you're not a fan of the kitten heel are you? If you've already got funky yellow shoes (and I'm sure you have), might a different pair be a better choice?

Marzi - how exciting!! Hope you have an amazing time.

    Hi all,

Had something to return to Tosphop yesterday and the playsuit I've liked for ages was back in stock so I bought it. It's this one - http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&categoryId=209780&parent_category_rn=208531&productId=1747650&langId=-1

Haven't tried it on yet, but hopefully it'll fit.

Marzi - Your China trip sounds great. My wee brother worked in China for a year so I went out to visit a few years back and had an amazing time. Was based in Tianjin, with weekends in Shanghai and Beijing (the big indoor market there is fab for 'designer' stuff - got a Longchamps weekend bag for £7 which I still use, really good quality). It's a culture shock, but everyone I met was so lovely and friendly.

    xx
  • hello everyone,

I'm totally knackered today, it took me 7 hours to get home from bournemouth yesterday, bloody trains! Didn't stop me getting up for the carboot this morning, and I got to meet the lovely alex when we bumped into eachother but I felt like a right !!!! afterwards! I think I was a bit nervous :$ silly i know!

anyway I had a good old rummage and came home with a massive bag full of lovely things, 2 pairs of shoes, a vintage playsuit, trousers, tops, dress, summer shirt, skirt, cd rack, leather bag, some lavender bath oil, sequin waistcoat, dvd's books, a necklace, it'll all be in the usual place later.

I only bought a couple of bits in the charity shops in bournmouth, we had a very quick scoot round the charity shops in westbourne at lunch time and picked up a cute miss selfridge dress, an 80's leopard print top and a box of cute notecards. A friend bought a huge suitcase of clothes that she didn't want anymore and oh my gosh. I got some YSL blue pumps brand new, a beautiful silk chinese jacket, some miss sixty jeans, a laura ashley long floral dress (which I think I'm going to shorten but it'll have to be by and cos I still haven't bought a power lead for my sewing machine) and a couple of other bits for nowt, I felt like christmas had come early and came home looking like a bag lady! (will post up pics in usual place soon)

The weather was scorching down in bournemouth, and typically it was raining last night back up here when i got off the train! I had a lovely time and I got to paddle in the sea while I was there.

I feel like lazing around for the rest of the afternoon but I really need to get some food shopping in, so plently of lazing after that me thinks

hope everyone's having a lovely day xx
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!
