I've got one soon too. I always find them odd days...not as sad as they are strange...as you say, seeing those people, what you all end up talking about.0 -

Afternoon girls, hope you're all having a good day today.
I'm debating whether to pop up to Durham today, as there's a vintage fair on there, or whether just to do a full on chazza shop trawl.
A couple of months ago I met the most lovely lady who's basically having a massive clearout and has such fabulous vintage treasures I could spend a fortune. So much of it is unused or has been very well looked after, and she's struck just the right balance on her prices. She's away for the next couple of weeks but she's bringing some 50s/60s dress patterns for me when she gets back. Can't wait!
Outfit:
50s St Michael dirndl skirt (black, mustard and teal, looks better than it sounds) from above lady - cost me £7
black scoop neck 3/4 sleeve tee
teal tights
Oh, and it's my wedding anniversary today as well - 18 years!0 -
Happy Anniversary, Jaq!
Liking the sound of the lady and her treasures.
Been jumble saleing earler and am going to finish off a couple of my furniture makeover this afternoon. Not sure if we're out later or TV and vino.
Today's outfit:

TopShop vest
Denim waistcoat
1960's silk scarf with peacock print (Car Boot)
Usual jewellery
Tan heeled platform boots (Market)

Did a bit of charity shopping while I was out and got a fab pair of green Kurt Geiger suede heels and a vintage green hat (part rabbit fur - please don't throw paint on me!) as well as a couple of tops and lots of books0

Ohh that sounds like a good haul Alex! I've been bead shopping, the shop I go to in Clevedon had half price on all jewellery making bits, but had been ransacked
did get some bargains though.
