I don't know really, He could be. I just found mine in my tie collection last week while having a tidy up. It's possible I have had it since the 80s and felt it went well with the tweed and brogues.

I know, i think it was about 15 in store a few wks ago, as my friend and i both tried them on..
But now it seems to be off the website, so i'm assuming sold out..
