Have a great time Douglas! Hope you get some fun time as well as all the seminars etc :)

Grrr, getting irritated with this ebay seller. I make it 15 days since I bought and paid for the dress and it's not showing up as having been posted and they haven't replied to my message asking about it.

Douglas _ I'm jealous of your trip. Even though it's just work for you I've had a hankering for Brussels since watching "In Bruges", such a brilliant film. Have fun!

Alex - I wouldn't know where to start. There was so much stuff. Vintage tie neck blouses in every colour, various other blouses, nylon neglegees and nighties, corsets, vintage 1970's and 1980's day and pinafore dresses, a couple of 1960's skirt suits, 1950's cotton pinies, fully fashioned jumpers, a camel wool coat and a couple of 1980's batwing cardis. There's six pairs of vintage 1960's shoes (two pairs fit me to perfection), three folders from an old wool shop that shut down in the early 1970's packed with literally hundreds of crochet and knitting patterns from the 1940's to the early 70's , at least six pairs of 1950's curtains, 1940's dress fabric.....it's one of the best I've ever been to. Makes include St Michael, Jaeger, Windsmoor, Eastex, English Lady, Miss Holmes.

The seminar is fun! It's martial arts stuff and we are all beyond taking it too seriously.

My GF will ask how did enjoy rolling around on the floor with sweaty strange men when I get back!

Nooo it's nothing like guacamole...I hate that, don't mess with avacado!

Hummus is chickpeas and tahini, blended together with whatever you want, spices, roasted peppers etc :)

Sounds yummy. Might make some for my lunch tomorrow.

Ooh Brussels sounds fun. I went to Bruges when I was at school for a WW1 trip and I really enjoyed it. Needless to say when the film 'In Bruges' is on I always point out the fact that I have been to that cathedral!

I've actually done my hair and make up - amazing. Decided that since I have all this MAC make up lying around I should use it. I was waiting on my skin to clear up but meh, the lure of woodwinked eyeshadow was too much. :rotfl:

oh i love avocadoeS!!! like they may be my fave veg! but my veg treat this wk was asparagus, did my weekly shop at lunch - £18 arg!! (but that did include some vitamins and 2 big bars of choc so not too bad i guess, as they are one-offs)..
but i forgot to get any hummus :( may have to try making my own though!

and i would like to be included in the shopping trip vix!
and also, saw a lovely faux fur leopard jacket in tesco (not that i need another), plus the blue / black brocade dress i fell for last time..both of which i walked past despite the 25% off all clothing!! day 1 and the no-clothes challenge is going well, haha! :D

I know, its just 'sooooo pretty'. I have a majorly long wish list of eye shadows that I want. All that glitters, smut, twinks, patina, the list goes on. (My bank balance is shuddering at the thought :rotfl:)
