Just to make you all jealous - it's lovely here today
Very windy but very warm and sunny too. I'm getting some gardening in while I can, so dressed in scruffy clothes.0 -

It would be lovely here if that blasted wind would drop. I was trying to take photos in the garden but my mannequin kept blowing over so I gave up.0 -
You've been busy on ebay though Vix - I'm just admiring some of the beautiful jackets you've got for sale on there.0

Thanks, Alex. There's a lot of Mum's stuff. I feel a bit bad selling it all but there's only so many things I can keep.
I've just been over to Dad's to sort out a bit more stuff. I've got a huge bag of unused toiletries to donate to the Salvation Army and I'm at a loss to know what to do with her hundreds of books.0 -
But it's going to fund another amazing trip to India isn't it? Surely that's a better way to remember her than hanging onto loads of clothes that you can't do anything with?
What sort of books are they? *is tempted*0 -
Loads of historical fiction, Alex. She was a voracious reader.
I'll have a look and let you know authors, you'd be very welcome to anything you fancy.0 -
Very autmuney here today, usual guff today, enjoyed dog walk tho with all the leaves blowing off the trees, i do look forward to the season changes- and the change of wardrobe:j
Leggings, cherry print dress, ballett flats and a nice red scarf
Vix, i am quite a sentimental person too, but you will have all the sentiment in your memories, perhaps just keep a few things that really meant something your mum. I really had to adopt this as my kids 'memory boxes' were overflowing with outfits, shoes and other bits from them growing up. Mum said that when my Gran died, sorting out her things was tough and very emotional, so lots of (((hugs)))

Do they, Sharron? It's been ages since I looked.
To be honest the Salvation Army are so good to me that I'm happy for them to have the lot.0 -

Yes i do beleive they do!! I have sold stuff like st tropez, founndation etc and got nearly what i paid for them in the past. I have also sold (bizarrley) half bottles of perfume. One was a Calvin Kline one i paid £5 for when i worked in Lloyds, used it a bit, got fed up of it, then sold it for £18!!
