    1. China = FAKE
    2. NEVER close a dispute until you have your money back.

If they sent the message via ebay, then phone ebay and say you haven't heard from the seller. You will also need to get them verified as fake BEFORE trying to open a dispute, but there's not many suppliers willing to do this as there's nothing in it for them (unless you promise to buy £500 of their stuff maybe???).

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Hi guys, many thanks for your replys.

I contacted PayPal earlier via phone and I was told the dispute could not be re-opened.

The goods weren't purchased through Ebay, so I don't have any protection with them. I found the supplier using AliBaba. He was a verified seller with gold status so I thought all would be ok.

It is gutting, considering me and a friend worked hard to get that money to buy some stock to setup an ebay business, but in a way its a lesson we've learned.

    Cheers

The only course of action now would be via your credit card company.

I don't know how it works, but does AliBaba not offer any protection? Have you been on their Help section, lots of q&a re different companies.
