ingap wrote:Hi, please forgive a daft question, but I'm a newbie to Quidco and would like to make a purchase today. I was wondering if it would be possible to go through my Quidco account to Boots (signing into my Boots account) and buy goodies, but at checkout pay with card in DH's name? Would the transaction still track for me or would he have to open his own Quidco account and then do it that way? Any advice would be much appreciated.
If it's your Boots account I can't see any problems. I'm not too sure on the rules regarding someone else buying from your account as personally I've made my dad use my quidco links to buy a few things and everything has been tracked and received fine whereas others seem to have had problems!

For those whose cahoot accounts tracked... How long did it take? And did it track before or after you sent in your id verification stuff? (If it asked you for it. It says with the letter that it by law they need to check, but I opened a Sainsburys a/c online last week and they didn't need it). It was the 10th that I applied.0

ditto mine - for PArty Poker (£25) and Pacific Poker (£80) bot houtstanding since April
and as for Virgin Poker - after five months Quidco have now "closed" that enquiry and sent me an e-mail saying that
a: Virgin did not know who is was
and b: telling me not to close accounts until I get my cashback
I replied, enclosing an e-mail that Virgin Poker had sent me that very day - so much for not knowing who I was, and highlighted the fact that I have not closed any account with Virgin
that was a week ago and quidco have not responded.
I am losing faith with them rapidly0 -
Hi,
I think that's hard on quidco, its not quidco's fault, they pass on any cash-back they get for the supplier to you... but if they don't get it... then they carn't pass it on....
Sadly with alot of these cashback sites, the supplier is looking for way's to make your account inactive.... really you should only sign up for goods and services you will use fully i.e. this of the cashback as something you'd have never got.. that way you'll not be dissapointed if you don't get it...
I've had some £280 back so far..... a 'unplanned' extra...

£2 cashback for signing up to Morgans Auctions - you just need to register with a credit card. Free to register as they only hold your account credit card details until you want to bid, much like Ebay. They do ask for a company name though.
