    I've been Money Tipped!
How many days did it take for your cahoot to show up? I did mine Saturday and nothing showing yet!
  • do a credit check?

I'm in the middle of trying to sort my debts but haven't told people I've moved and don't want to be hassled while I'm trying to get it done, as it's hard enough to face up to with my depression, without people ringing etc.

Any advice etc would be great

    Thanks

Normally quidco decline payments where they believe an account is being used unfairly. For example, somebody who repeatedly clicks things like the kelkoo referral, or as we saw recently with the magazine subscriptions where the offer was withdrawn. Doesn't look like there's anything odd about the ones you've listed above, unless you tried using them multiple times.
  • Don't you just love quidco? I've earned about £600 from it since last November.

My tips are the bookies and matched betting. You will need to read up about it on the gambling forum but there's a lot of money to be made from those who put the time in learning how to do it.

Also, watch out for the new and temporarily increased cashback offers down the right hand side of the page. Every so often they have one that's too good to miss. Earlier on this year they had £5 cashback on yves rocher. You could also get £3 cashback by using a discount code and free postage on orders over a tenner. They also have specials on certain items. I got £30 worth of shower gel (five items) for £7.

I have just signed up for the post office credit card it says they will let me know via post if my app is sucessful. I am not worried about this as I have no credit or bad history but will I still get my cash back?? Because it does say on some things cashback only paid on wholly online transactions. Will this be classed as wholly on line?? anyone know?

We got the post office cash back, even though I left it so long to send the forms back I've got to apply again. Another credit check but another £13 hopefully. :D

I just signed up for the Cahoot savings account - hoping it will track soon, it says on Quidco now 26 quid for the first savings account application :) I'll be using this account to save for 'fun stuff', so it seems like a nice and handy deal :)

Do you think it's possible to open 2 Cahoot savings accounts? I did this recently via Greasypalm as Cahoot wasn't on Quidco at the time. I only got £13 cashback via GP but now it's double that on Quidco I'm thinking of opening another through them. Not sure if it's allowed though?

EDIT: I've contacted Cahoot and apparently you can have up to 3 savings accounts per person!!

Another good one is to buy travel insurance from the Post Office. I took out a child's policy for 2 days travelling in UK - cost of policy £2.75 - cashback £8 so profit of £5.25.
