After how many times can you breach VERO policy before eBay suspend you?

well i use to be a bit of bad boy when it came to ebay, about 15 accounts ( i use to use mates credit cards to sign up for accounts etc) and was at time selling replica expensive watches, I wasn't ripping people off by pretending they were original but I made it clear in a way that ebay took a while to pick up on.

on average it only took three attempts before i got a week ban and then one or two more after that and I got a 6 month ban, this has happend over all the accounts apart from three. I'm a refomred character now.

    Lol ok, thanks for that.

They removed an item I was selling that was original, whilst there were many people continuing to sell replicas. When I pointed this out to them, they basically gave me the standard 'we cannot monitor everyone' reply.

  • Live Aid was a long time ago, but I thought Bob Geldof did say "give us your f***ing money NOW" or something very similar. I do remember being surprised (and, I admit, somewhat amused) by his pre-watershed use of the F-word, and I remember it was on the news afterwards that he'd later apologised for that. The offending word is not included on the DVD set (which is missing a quantity of lost footage, as well as a small amount of deliberately omitted material).
I would have had a lot more respect for eBay if they'd banned Live8 tickets from the start, or even if they'd stuck to their guns and continued to allow them, rather than doing a u-turn because people (with Bob Geldof's encouragement) were trying to make things difficult for them.

yes i know what you mean, i use to play that game with them for ages, give them there due they do seem to be trying to act, i just think they have go so big i knew if chose a lesser know named watch they wouldnt have the knowledge that it was a replica, whereas if a rolex went on there and it was going for 150.00 it was pretty obvious.

send your docs off and you might get it sorted in a week or so, you could always go to help type in appealing against suspension and just send them a note to say that your paperwork is being forwarded off. like i say i did this kind of thing for ages until it all caught up with me and i had a year ban. then I found out how much i missed ebay, they put a hold on all my credit cards etc.
