ebay suspension query

hi
anyone here good with all things realting to ebay suspension? without going into details, my account was suspended for breach of vero policy. i was informed that the suspension was for 7 days (i have heard of suspensions for 60 days & 12 months).
ebay have asked me to fax/mail off 2 documents, which i have done & included the signed form to say i will not breach ebay policy again. on reciept of these forms, ebay will review my account & decide whether or not to allow reinstatement.
my question is this - am i likely to get my account back? if i were suspended for good, why would they have allowed me send those forms? would they have not said from the beginning that it was game over?
i'm waiting for a reply but just thought i'd see what others have experienced
thanks

!!!! em?
eBay seem to have this misguided notion that they're judge and jury - they're not, they're a 2-bit outfit that abuses their dominant market position to impose bull!!!! rules and regs, witness the banning of perfectly legal Live8 ticket auctions just because Bob "fock the nombers, just give us the focking money" Geldof chucked his toys.

Bob Geldof never actually said that, so you might want to get your facts straight in futurechuckles1066 wrote:!!!! em?

No, it's an urban myth. From Wikipedia:deecy wrote:i thought bob geldof did say something extremely similar to that on live aid -the first one - i heard it and my jaw dropped - the bbc has never been the same again
After Live Aid, Geldof became one of the world's most recognisable people. He also became particularly known for his use of strong language in conversation, regardless of his target audience. It was widely claimed that he exhorted viewers to 'give us your ****in' money' in the course of an afternoon session at the BBC's Wembley studio during Live Aid. However, this is an urban myth: he actually said 'People are dying NOW. Give us the money NOW. Give me the money now'; shortly afterwards, he said '**** the address, just give the phone, here's the number...', when trying to emphasise the point of Live Aid as a fundraising event. Can I help?0
