Hello,
I wondered if anyone could help I've been charged an account fee of 28.00 for going overdrawn-the reason I went overdrawn was because Natwest took out 28.00 for me going overdrawn the previous month.I really don't think it seems fair that they are charging me for there charges!Has anyone had any experience of this?Do you think I stand a chance of getting my charges back?

I claimed over £700 back from NatWest and a lot of that was charges on charges. I got the whole lot back as soon as I started the court process.0

I got £32 back (small time crook me lol)
£20 for going 39p overdrawn and £12 (they reduced the charges between months because of office of trading) for the £20 they took out. I claimed it back and didn't even need to start the court process, took some cheek though... since I work for them!!!!If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

Im definatley going to start the process of trying to get my charges back I reckon I have been charged about 2,000 in the last 6 years!
The fella at Natwest said I had made a right mess of my account and on a scale of 1-10-10 being a terrible customer I was 9 the cheeky thing.
Thanks for the advice Im going to ask for a copy of my statements tomorrow so I can work out how much I need to try and claim back.0 -
Just screw the b******s.
I filed for about £600 ish, then they refuse to pay, so I filled in the claim form for the court stuff on line and as soon as they received it they paid the charges, interest and court fees straight up, over £750.
The daft thing is that if they had paid up on my first letter they would have saved themselves about £150.
He He He!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

If it was just one charge rather than starting a claim why didn't you call them up at the time and ask if they could reverse it? Or had you had lots of charges before?0 -
Well I called this morning to ask for my 28.00 back and was told no we pre advise you of the charges and we will not look at returning them to you-so I called a number I got of consumer action group and asked for last 6 years of statements which they said they will send to me for a fiver. So I've started the ball rolling see you in court natwest!-Well hopefully it won't get to that stage ha ha!0

Only charges I've ever had off them, wrote to them asking nicely then when they refused used a consumer action group letter which worked. If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
