Cool thanks for the info, i had a feeling they would extend it again and i also think they will extend it again when 1st October arrives, in fact they will keep extending it until they feel that they have enough customers on board, so im guessing another years free internet at the least.0

Can this internet connection be used with a PC, and does it have unlimited bandwidth?0

All you need to know is on their website,Can this internet connection be used with a PC, and does it have unlimited bandwidth?
namely
"Mobile Internet allowances exclude PC use and tethering"
so NO"Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
See also the following http://giffgaff.com/boiler-plate/terms
"All usage of your giffgaff SIM Card must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not use your SIM Card:
)(i) in, any other device including a modem connected to a PC.;
(ii) to allow the continuous streaming of any audio / video content,
(iii) or in such a way that adversely impacts the service to other giffgaff customers."0 -

Errrmm did you not bother to read my post from yesterday or indeed any of the posts above yours? or the site that the OP linked too?
Even in the post directly above your own, this question is clearly answered by "Oldgreyfox", namely
A dongle is a modem is it not?(i) in, any other device including a modem connected to a PC.;
This deal is for HANDSET'S only
HANDSET = A MOBILE PHONE (not a dongle)
A dongle is not a handset
This is not suitable for use with an O2 Dongle
This is not suitable for use with a Voda Dongle
This is not suitable for use in ANY dongle
If you want to use a DONGLE look elsewhere, because this sim is not suitable for use in a DONGLE
P.s - this will not work with a dongle
I don't know why people bother taking the time to research or post information or advice, as its clear its not read, even when the information has been repeated several times."Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
You are allowed 100 MB per day, which is quite a lot providing you don't download videos.0
