So why are Peugeot advertising a car with the disclaimer that they do not sell it?! A rather pointless advert!

    Peugeot should spend the money on improving their current line up, not wasting it on pointless adverts lol.

    Pretty much what i said to the mrs when i saw this advert.

    So to the advertiser / company.

    Dear Peugeot,

    Stop telling us what we can't have and start making your products properly.
    You will stop coming bottom of manufacturer surveys and make more money..

    win/win for you and us.

    Because when people post threads like this about their advert they get their name about more at no cost, so ad did its job. Plus they can show of there skills and give a clue to what cars may look like in years to come.

    Whilst i sort of take the point about their name getting out there i have to say that i disagree about showing off "their skills".

    If we ignore the bit about "this car is not for sale" i couldn't work out the point of the advert at all.

    The car also looks like it melted after sitting in the sun too long and then it explodes into bits?
    How does that tell me anything about peugeot at all?

    Actually the part about it melting makes perfect sense now as to why you can't buy it.
    They've tried to copy the skoda cake advert with jelly and icecream!

    They are selling their brand. They want people to stop and think about Peugot cars, not just see yet another car advert. Seems to be working.
