If you collect tesco points and decide to do this let me know as I have a voucher which will give 150 extra points when you register your tesco PAYG mobile to your clubcard. I'm pretty sure the details on it can be used by anyone.MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0 -
I have a White German Shephard and she costs me MAX £24 a month with insurance even when I had my second Dog Roxy (RIP bloody hit and run) it cost me MAX £40 and they are two BIG dogs - so I really dont understand how you have £50 for two cats.
How longs left on the sky contract? I agree with everyone here drop it to the lowest price possible then with the £15 buy a digi box.
also £40 sounds very hgh for internet I am with AOL paying £33 and they are the most expensive I know But it saves us money as we both spend alot of time online - my OH plays online games to take the time up and I browse for freebies
I peronally wouldnt cut down on the electric payments till you have cleared off what outstanding balance there is. Again I think this is very high - Even £60 (wo your £30) a month seems excessive, I am at home all day and have a 4 month old baby and have the computer on 24/7 and pay £45 and that is £15 extra to clear a balance.
I wish you luck though, I hope it works out for you. There are many great people on here that are willing to help you out!

If you have a pets athome nearby Dog food(wagg complete) is on offer I think its 12kg for £8.83 with £3kg free but cant remember without going to the bag and looking, Its good colourfull and in small bites
sorry to go off topic but thought I would mention it
PS have you thought of complete dried catfood? because if you buy in bulk it tends to be cheaper!Debt [STRIKE]01/09/2006 = £10500[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]14/09/06= 9034.43[/STRIKE] 15/09/2006 [STRIKE]£8530[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£7832.32[/STRIKE] 01/01/2007=£4866.40

I can see where your money goes for the pets. I've just had a think of what ours cost us.
We have 4 cats & they get a mix of dry food and meat in jelly
They get through 4 Kg biscuits a month = about £7
Plus 6 pouches a day (cheapest that they will eat  = £2.50 for 12) = £1.25 per day = £37.50 per month (based on 30 days)
Total for 4 cats on food alone = £44.50
Do buy it in bulk when on offer - but must admit it's the first time I've really looked at it and broken it down. We used to always get the Hill's stuff (senior and diet - one is VERY over weight) - but just can't afford it now.
There's an advert on the telly for a certain type of "premium" cat food at the moment (can't remember what) that shows what looks like "chunks" of tuna - except a can of tuan (as my OH would say) is cheaper than the cat food!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: CRAZY!0 -
I seen that one too
How about for a treat for the cats or dog, if you having meat/chicken/tuna meal drain off the excess fluids and pour onto the dry pet food to really put a smile on your pets face!
Also if the dry food is too dry buy some value gravy granules and add a bit of gravy to moisten it up and make it a bit more appetising!

Thanks for the above posts guys. All our animals are already fed on complete dry food. I am fortunate that I can but it at cost+VAT so I save a lot there anyway. But I will admit to not feeding the cheapest of brands.0

Can you let us know the brand name you feed? If you are already getting your pet food at cost that's excellent but we can probably recommend a cheaper alternative similar to the one you feed now. Also who are they insured with as this can be costly but necessary, especially with large breeds. However, someone may be able to suggest alternative.0

JWB is very very pricey, can you not change to something cheaper just for now until you get out of your situation. Sorry not heard of the dogfood before so can't advise but I'd change just for now. If you do not insure your pets then £50 is a lot of money to spend.0
