Hi, I am currently in receipt of income support but am due to either go onto Employment Support Allowance (ESA) as I had a recent op on my foot, or JSA as my daughter is nearly 10yrs. However, I have recently discovered that I am pregnant, so will I stay on Income support or go onto ESA or JSA because of my change in circumstances and at what stage in my pregnancy do i need to inform the Job Centre? Also Im not living with my partner, he works full time and earns over £30k a year, if we moved in together I'm guessing my income support, ESA or JSA would stop along with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit as they would consider that I can live off of his income?? Can anyone help with just letting me know what benefits I would be entitled to either on my own or together as a couple with a new baby and 1 child of 10. Thanks for any help.

Can't be much help. Can tell you that your options are still ESA or JSA - being pregnant doesn't mean you can stay on IS, if you're capable of working (which you are up to shortly before birth) then you are capable of jobhunting and would be on JSA.

You can go on Income Support from 11 weeks before your due date, until then it is either JSA or ESA.0

You mention that you are not living with a partner but do you actually have a partner - if you have surely you should have declared this to Income Support.0 -
As above, you would either claim ESA or JSA. I would expect some contact from the compliance team at your local JCP too. They will probably want more details as to your partner and the pregnancy. They may view this as conning the system!!0

Why don't you move in with your partner as your already having a baby together?I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
