reporting threads

when a post is reported via the new "bad post" symbol who does it go to?

Asking as if an offensive post is found.

i know we should email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com but is the new clickable link the same? Or would the email get picked up by someone quicker

I think the bad post symbol is the same moonie, it is just for reporting abuse, anything illegal etc, so i would imagine it is a direct contact to abuse control the same as emailing them
Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission ;)

I think the email to abuse route is the preferred option as this is what Martin asked all the Board guides to post in their signatures. It is still a bit confusing to me.

    It's the same link:)
  • Using the bad post button reports the post to the abuse team and we recieve an email similar to if someone emails direct to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. If you email directly it is always helpful if you could include a link to the post as it makes our job easier. If you use the bad post button this is done automatically.

Both methods are preferable to PMing an MSE official as there is generally a quicker response time.
