hi.not sure if i'm on the right thread here, but i'm looking for a cheaper phone/internet/TV package.
I currently pay £35 a month to NTL to get broadband, phone rental and unlimited local evening/weekend calls, and the family package on the TV. I've just seen on this month's bill that they're charging me £4 a month cos i don't have a bank a/c to pay it by direct debit so i want to go somewhere cheaper.
I've thought about just getting a Freeview box for the TV but i wondered if there was anywhere cheaper for phone and broadband.
Also, my daughter's just got herself a computer and wants to know how she can get herself on the net without doing it on a phone line cos i already use broadband at a cost of £17.99 p/m ( its included in the £35 i pay to NTL each month
any ideas on what i can do? Thanx in advance

you need a phone line for broadband almost everywhere in the U.K at the momnet
if your daughter is at home you can get a wireless cable broadband router/modem for NTL and she can use that to connect wirelessly using her laptopEx forum ambassador
