Virgin replacement sim card

Hi,
I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice. I've got a mobile contract with Virgin, I lost my phone on the 4th June and phoned them to cancel it and get a replacement SIM card. By the 21st June I still hadn't received it so I phoned their customer services (after 3 unanswered emails and 40 minutes on hold) they said they will send out another one and said I wouldn't have to pay for a month of the contract.
Today is the 29th and I STILL haven't received it!!! I am so annoyed. What can I do now? I've emailed them and said if it's not here by Saturday the 2nd July (I'm going on holiday) I am cancelling the direct debit and my virgin media stuff (broadband/phone/internet). Can I do this? Does anyone know what else I can do?
Thanks very much

Cancelling your DD's while still in contract is a bad idea...what happens then is virgin will trash your credit rating & you'll be followed by debt collections
ring them back & ask to speak to someone higherWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I tried that last time. They never get you anyone higher.
I've tweeted at Richard Branson, I'm certain he will step in and sort it out.
I'll persevere!0
