I had a standard def flip and it was great, you can plug straight into your tv as well so no need to download onto pc before viewing on your tv.

I saw the HD version at the gadget show a d the picture quality, even in lowlight was amazing!!!! The only reason I'm not getting one is I have the iPhone 4 which also has HD recording

Anyone with kids should really get one of these. You can keep it in your pocket and never miss a special moment!

I can't rate Flip highly enough!

Ooh I didn't know it could plug directly into the tv, how does that work? Do you need a special lead?

The black Ultra HD and the Mino have mini HDMI out sockets, so you'd need a standard HDMI to Mini HDMI cable to connect directly to an HD TV

Funny though, that the white Ultra HD has no HDMI socket ?????

About £4 from Play or others, for a 2M length cable.

EDIT bit wrong about the white hd unit - it does have HDMI. Goto the Misco site for much better photos (though worse prices!!)
