Cancelling CPW contract
Due to getting an iPhone 4 and my current O2 contract which is with CPW not being on their system I had to take a new contract out with O2.
Called CPW to cancel my existing deal, he gave me a disconnection reference number and e-mailed a link with a form to fill in and no further instructions.
Any idea how long this will take to be cancelled if at all?

Put it in writing and send it to the address on the back of your bill. Send it signed for and thats it.
Don't try and send it elsewhere, CPW outsourced all there incoming mail it's scanned and put on the system electronically, sending it to say Head Office slows the system down.
They'll call with a deal but say no. You may have to pay 30 days extra in leiu of notice but you can cancel with pretty much immediate effect.
However if you've not met the mimimum term on your contract they may charge you an early terminatino fee, of your monthly cost x month left in contract.0 -
