Snapfish free prints - or should that be crapfish?!

Anyone else had trouble with Snapfish?
I took up their introductory offer of 20 prints free, and used the option to collect the prints at my local Jessops, which meant no charge for p&p. I received an e-mail saying my prints were expected to be ready by 3.00 pm on 30 August; I would be sent an e-mail confirming when they were ready to be picked up; and I should contact the shop with any queries about processing.
I didn't get an e-mail confirming the prints were ready, so called in to Jessops in person on 31 August. The shop couldn't help - apparently 5.30 is too late in the day to get answers from head office or wherever. I was told that the prints are done centrally and then sent out to the relevant branch of Jessops, which makes a 2-day delivery start to look a bit optimistic.
My e-mail to customer services concerning the whereabouts of my prints has yet to be answered, despite the fact that it was sent more than 24 hours ago and their auto-reply indicated I should expect a response within 24 hours.
Someday my prints will come .... (sorry, couldn't resist that!).
I know this is all very trivial in the scheme of things, but it isn't much of an advertisement for them, particularly if other people are having the same experience.

use the code skyphoto at checkout and you get free p&p - iv'e ordered a few times with the same code and no problemsDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
have ordered many times from snapfish and the delivery has been very quick but my last two orders last week have taken 4 days to be delivered. they have a backlog with orders due to their offer from the sun for 50 prints.0

crapfish
I did the CD-WOW 30 free prints delivered offer.
Got an instant email confirmation stating 1-2 days delivery. 5 days later... nothing... and when I log onto my account I get "awaiting processing"
The purpose of the free trials is so that customers will then go on to pay for the service in the future.
Not bloody likely!!!! Back to Asda for me!0 -
Many thanks for all the comments - seems to be a bit pot luck!!0

I've ordered twice from snapfish, once for 800 photos, and once for 500 photos, and both times they turned up within 4 days.
They're pretty good, just give them a chance.

I've had over 300 photos from them over 4 to 5 orders and never a problem.0

I had the same problem with my pick up from Jessops. They should have been there on Wednesday and I have been twice already to check, but nothing is there.
I threw a bit of a tantrum and the store manager will now call me when they are in :-)
He basically explained that they had over 2 million orders over the bank holiday weekend because of their 40 free prints jessops online order and are having difficulty to process everything. Lets hope they get it sorted soon. I would love to have my wedding pics...0 -
Me too, me too!!!
I ordered at the weekend and received first e-mail stating they would be ready by 3pm on Tuesday. I then received an e-mail stating the photos were ready for collection. As it was a bank holiday weekend I waited til Wednesday midday and popped into the shop. But the photos hadn't arrived and the guy looked at me as if I had gone mad expecting them to be there already. According to him the shops have no way of checking on progress.
I popped back on Thursday morning but still no photos. The guy serving asked if I could leave it a couple of days as they were having problems with the ones ordered online. Then another guy came along and said some photos had gone to another branch by mistake and maybe mine was at the other branch. He took my name and phone number and said he would phone me when they arrived.
No phone call, so popped into Jessops today whilst in town and yeah, my photos have finally arrived!!!
I am actually quite pleased with the quality of the photos but I was dissappointed in the service. If they had said Saturday originally then that would have been fine by me as not desparate for the photos. Anyway would probably use the service again but not if I needed the photos quickly, if that makes sense!0 -
TWO MILLION orders?? No wonder they are struggling!0
