I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here but on another thread, it was mentioned about cooking individual christmas cakes in a used baked bean tin (or any other tin).
I was thinking of making some. Is it too early or should I wait. I always think I'm too early, and by the time I think I should be getting started I've lost motivation and I just buy one instead. I wanted to be prepared this year.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I did my Xmas cakes in August last year and they were yummy! But then I was feeding them with cherry brandy for months. Fruit cake lasts ages doesnt it? Last year was my first time making Xmas cake so I may not be a reliable source0 -

Does it have to be that particular brand? Because that Condensed milk brand (forgot name) also has a caramel one that everyone uses for Banoffee cakes.0 -

Had a couple of spare hours today so have made my bags of reindeer noses for the kids. They look great. I used red m&m's this year. They will go in the Christmas Eve hampers.
