Recommendations for a "fun" car

If you can look to spend similar money on a used car, you should get a Mazda 6 MPS or Mazda RX-8. Both can be easily bought from a main Mazda dealer with manufacturer backed warranty for under £12k. They'll certainly be more 'fun' than some cars already mentioned.0

I would second the clio recommendation I had a phase one 172 and then a phase two 172 they were both amazing fast and fun cars. I have also had an MR2 roadster and I wouldn't recommend them, it was quite slow and although it handled well a lot of the time the back end would come out on you even at slow speeds. My BF wrote it off in the end and he was only doing 30 round a bend in the wet. (thats what he told me anyway lol!!)0
