Don't blind us all with your faith in your daughter.
Does she do a tailored covering letter to go with her CV? Does she cut out the waffle in her CV? Have you helped her with it?
Excuse me? I have every faith in my daughter, who is a fantastic young woman. I just want her to be realistic, rather than setting her sights too high, so that I can help her in every way possible, as I was trying to do on this thread. And it's a Yes to all 3 of your questions. I have helped her, but I also want her to learn to stand on her own two feet. Helping, without being too interfering.0 -
Thanks everyone for your help so far. She has been making sure she hands her CV in personally, and I think she's covered everywhere that she actually 'wants' to work, now she's going to have to go onto the supermarkets, hotels etc. That's her job for the weekend then!0

She could also ask a few charity shops, it won't be paid (well some are) but it's experience, which could put her ahead for when she gets interviews for paid work and something to talk about!War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0
