Uni application - someone help me !

Hey everyone,
I have just had an update on my Uni application.
2 of the courses I applied for now have conditional offers. The condition is that I get 240 UCAS points. My course is only worth 100 UCAS points, which they will know from my application.
Does that mean I've not got on the course? Or are they considering me as a mature student and work experience I have?
Confused. I presumed they would reject me if I didn't have the right points.

You need to contact them. It could be that they've submitted the wrong thing when processing your offer - it will be done by admin staff who haven't actually seen your application. Or it could be that the admissions tutor didn't read your qualifications properly.
They won't have given you an unobtainable offer on purpose, though.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

That's what's confused me, offering me something I'll never get this year.
Tried to call but it's constantly engaged..
I want to get excited, but worried it's a mistake..9/70lbs to lose0 -
They've put it though as a 'normal' application by the look of it and I imagine it will be resolved easily enough once you manage to get hold of them.
You could also try contacting the admissions department of the unis involved just to double check/reassure you?0 -
So does that mean I won't have got onto the course and the offer is wrong? or is it impossible to say?9/70lbs to lose0

As already said, they won't have given you an unobtainable offer on purpose. I'd contact the admissions tutors of the courses to confirm their offer. You should be able to find their contact details on the university website.
Congratulations for getting offers, I'm sure you'll get them sorted.0 -
I shall call them tomorrow and try to find out. Thanks for the help.9/70lbs to lose0

I think it will all be ok too.
Try not to worry!0 -
I hope so.
I've applied for 5 courses, these are the two big ones that have come back. I didn't think I'd get them, so if I have then I'll be well chuffed.
Trying not to build my hopes up though, just in case..9/70lbs to lose0 -
But 100 UCAS points is less than 1 A2 level? What sort of a course is it?0

Civil Engineering & Architectural Technology.
I am 27yrs old and I've worked for my dad on large building projects before.
Plus I have 1 year (100 UCAS points) on the ONC in Civil Engineering.9/70lbs to lose0
