Trying to call O2 PAYG from my contract O2 phone was so much hassle so I manged to find a free way to call from your PAYG.
It definately works because I have a zero balance and just spent 15 mins on the phone to PAYG CS to give them a PAC code.

From the link above
Step 1. Call 4444 From ure handset as if you are going to topup ure fone.
Step 2. Follow voice prompts. press 1 to top up ure fone, then press option 2 for topping up by credit card.
not option 1 which is for topping up by voucher.

That sounds like even more hassle
Actually it is easier to call payg cs from the contract phone. Call 100 and ask to be transferred to pay-as-you-go customer services, which will be the ordinary one; if the query is about payg online, they will transfer you again0 -
You can't dial 100 from an o2 online contract. You have to dial 0870 600 3009 which is 50p a minute and doesn't come out of free minutes.0

These easiest way is to call 4444 the top up line and when it asks you to enter your credit card number to top up just press nothing. It'll eventualy transfer you to customer care.
Works everytime0 -

Customer Service can tell you are calling from the top up line and shouldn't be. Just most are too soft to tell you to redial!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0
