Welcome Car Finance - Car Written off - BIG problem

Walovesfan,
You seem to want to not tell welcome about this, but you are really going to have to. It is fraud if you do not; the money was never yours to buy the car with. So long as you offer to continue paying the finance, they should be ok with this.
Secondly, with regards to the DMP, I believe if you go down this route, then you would HAVE to include welcome into it, otherwise it would be showing preference to a creditor, which the others would frown upon.
These really are two separate issues though. Sort the problem with welcome out i.e. tell them.
Then you can try to sort out the DMP.0 -
Just to add, I hope the girlfriend loves you, as much as you love her, and goes along with my suggestion of using any compensation she gets to pay off Welcome.

OP - your ex wife left you in debt.
Your current g/f is giving you more debt.
Common factor here is that you are being taken for a mug yet again.
You are supporting someone financially that you aren't even married to and bit by bit they are drowning you in debt.
I am looking forward to your next thread where you ask for advice on your debt caused by you buying cars for your ex girlfriend, who has had enough of you and left you like the wife did.
The g/f will disappear with the gifted car and personal injury money leaving you with hee haw.0 -
One thing that is not really norma,l is the fact that the insurance were not made aware or even had checked that their was a hpi marker on the car as 3rd party intrest in the car. I had a bike stolen years back which was on finance, the cheque went direct from the insurance to blackhorse.0

He states his girlfriends son is registered disabled. I would then ask if she receives DLA for him - if so does it include Mobility part. Higher rate is £50 per week which can be used to get a car (brand new) every 3 years.
I received DLA for my son while he recovered from Spinal Surgery (he was in a wheel-chair for 6mths).
The fact that the car is gone is no reason not to continue to pay for it.
Also if your girlfriend is working she shouldn't be leaning on you for money that you obviously cannot afford.
You need to sit down with her and get this off your chest as it is obvious that it is getting you down.
Car on Welcome Finance package would flag up on Insurance company computer system..
Who was paying the car insurance?
Bottom line is you HAVE TO TELL WELCOME THAT THE CAR IS GONE!0
