    What about the general bit? View menu, HTML, then the general box.

    Does it have audio? Is it perhaps just a raw AVC stream, not in a container or anything?

    Grab that, mux it into a .mkv, install haali media splitter and ffdshow. Download media player classic and try playing the .mkv in it.

    I open AVIMux_GUI.exe, drag the file in and it comes up with unsuported file

    Was there an installation disc supplied?
    (As fwor asked in post #4 above).
    Sometimes on the disc there is a converter program included.
    Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
