A fiction held by those on the right propagated by the Hate Mail. Can the number be reduced by going after those who should really be on JSA? Absolutely.

But what about all the people with a chronic condition? What about the people who are sick more often than they are not sick? Easy to look at their better days and think "they're shirking" - but how many employers do you know who will employ someone whose health means they may be off sick more than they are at work?

But your comment is revealing enough. To people like you, people on benefits are basically scrounging scum who have it coming.

I had chronic Asthma from the age of 3 weeks old. When I left college I struggled to find a company who would take me on,purely because I rarely put in full weeks.
The solution was simple I went self employed, it was very hard for the first couple of years but I managed to build my client base up and I'm normally booked up 3 months in advance.....

It can be done........I admit not by everyone.....

    The majority are, yes.

But I lived 13 years of your socialist horror, now its my turn.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. Socialism is dead for a long while mate.

Why the need for the childish name calling?

How old are you? Can you not debate in an adult manner like everyone else is doing?

He is a hard working taxpayer paying 41% of his salary in taxation, of course he is entitled to his opinion, just like you are yours. Doesn't make him wrong and you right though.

A bit more maturity wouldn't go amiss ;)

As soon as you start throwing your toys out of the pram and start name calling you've already lost the point and the respects of your post.

    Think about it.

If you read his sig line, he boasts of being a 'BNP/ Liberal supporter'. How much respect can he ever have had with that level of political schizophrenia?
