The tenants comming through our office are all of sudden being afflicted with mental illness such as panic attacks and aggraphobia - as these are more or less impossible to test for. 3 of these are known to me already and live for weekend clubbing - flashing lights and loud noise doesn't seem to aggravate thier conditions, mmmmmmm.

I'm just wondering why foreign aid is such a sacred cow that they have ringfenced it? Surely when we have a £160billion defecit per year, the UK must forego giving aid to countries that have their own space programmes (India etc)?
    A really good point.
Why on earth we are giving aid to China when they are sat on massive foreign reserves, and our country is virtually broke, seems like lunacy.

Errr edit :) I do agree benefit system is way too generous
As an investor, you know that any kind of investment opportunity has its risks, and investing in Stocks or Precious Metals is highly speculative. All of the content I post is for informational purposes only.

Don't take this the wrong way, but just in case it might ever impact on your chances of landing the job you want, it's 'fewer' in all those instances.

There are employers who would instantly dismiss a job application which confused the two, or favour a different application.

Repeatedly using less when it should be fewer in posts used to irritate NDG, and Gen also registered his annoyance with some posters, so I also made note to check myself before posting, sometimes made the less/few mistake when tired.
We need less posts like this :)

I think it would be pretty easy to prove they weren't agoraphobic if they could go clubbing.

Weakness is in the mind. The only thing keeping disabled people out of work is their attitude.

    Welcome to austerity!

That can be very true in many cases....The vast majority of claimants can do some sort of work.

I knew a chap who had both his legs amputated , did he moan and whinge? wallow in self pity? no he got off his !!!! and got re trained and spent his working life in the printing industry. He sadly passed away a cpl of years ago, he was in his 40,s but worked from the age of 18..

Some of the people I know are on IB should hang their heads in shame , but they don't they just continue to milk the system and take advantage of the good will of the tax paying public..

One of the few good things Nu -labour did was to help/promote jobs for the disabled which is fair play to them...

Motorbility is another benefit that needs sorting out.

Prove me wrong. Of course, physical or mental disability will exclude individuals from certain roles, however, to assume there is NO work that disabled individuals can do is quite a sweeping statement.

The jobs might not be their idea of perfect, but in the main they can work.

Do we give aid to China? I can't believe that's true.

I believe we do, and also to India - both have a space programme ... do we?
