I would pay a bit more and get this one:

Ok, it's £200k more, but it's 3 times as much house. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
269 people have looked at this thread so far. Bet they all clicked on the link.
Reckon estate agent is telling them there is loads of interest !0 -
Having a quick look, then consulting zoopla..... it says it was last sold (on record) for £210k in 1996 and today's value would be £684k
However, between 1996 and today, maybe what was sold then has been reduced and 99% of land/other buildings were sold off individually.... as it's obviously not worth that.0 -

Other agents are also marketing it for that price? That really is mad! Unless we are all missing something about it... It doesn't even look a very well specced house to me: ok, but hardly luxury... The living space is only one room, onlytwo bedrooms and only one bathroom (not even an ensuite?)? You can buy a LOT nicer and/or bigger in this area for that price.... It may be a character property, but as someone else said it is pretty darn ugly.... Doesn't even have a nice spec.
The last price paid for it would have been for a larger area (this must be the convertion of an out building). There is a LOT of "building in you back garden" in this area. Have seen a number of big houses subdvide their garden and put another big house on it (then you end up with two big houses on relatively small plots... Shame).

I think there is an extra 4 in the price, it has to be a typo!0

Looks more like a toilet block from the outside! :rotfl:
The only nice part about it is the view, sort of looks like a new build apartment from the inside shots0 -

Agreed on both counts....
There are some nice "shared ownership" flats on the state where I currrently live and the interiors look VERY similar.... Those are being marketed at about £240/250k...

The funny thing is that according to the planning permission to convert it into a dwelling the so called 'garden' that is paved also forms the turning circle for the car parking space. Furthermore it has a main road running directly at the rear and a lane to the front - if you look at the photo of the front of the building - that bit of new tarmac is the parking space, the bit of older tarmac is the lane, if I was spending that sort of money I would want a decent parking space where I didn't have to worry that my wing mirror would be taken off by a passing car.
Oh and the fencing all round the back doesn't have the benefit of planning permission and considering where it is located it is likely that the Enforcement Officers are already aware of this.0
