£8.53 in supermarket on shopping which is much less than I expected as I checked cupboards & freezer before going and decided there were many things we could get by without.
BUT and it's a big but - took DS for new football boots/games kit necessary for autumn term and cost was a staggering £69.98 due partly to his feet having a mega growth spurt.
So £78.51 today. I need to lie down in a darkened room.............

Spent 3 quid on naughty stuff in the corner shop (fags and chewy!)- went to the gym - resisted the cafe there and came home, then had lunch bought for me in the pub by a friend who's staying for the weekend.
Got a 5 pound Boots voucher from Valued Opinions this morning too!
Am also putting away for Xmas (hopefully will have a few more by then!)
Still raining here so will be staying in for the rest of the day.0 -

Weather lousy here too-so cleaning and baking...just eating a gorgeaus crispy jacket with butter...tis good...the kids are playing out or in their rooms playing games and no intentions of heading out with weather as it is. I'm listening to the radio and chilling and 2 dvd's arrived from Screenselect this morning so have a good horror film for me tonight (and a nice bottle of wine in the fridge) and a film for the kids so thats our evening sorted. I even have a nice beef curry I knocked up last night in the fridge and I think i'll make some peas pilau to go with it and will have spent a grand zero....sometimes bad weather can be good:rotfl:Thanks to MSE and all the moneysaving tips I can now work PT (instead of FT) to pay the bills and still have fun!!:beer:0

OK - well last night had a couple of beers and curry take out with OH about £18 - our treat for the week (we've not had a take away curry for months and it was scrummy). That was all we spent yesterday.
Today filled the car for the month with petrol £40 and did some overtime that should earn me about £50 :T .
Plus we have a load of stuff on ebay ending tomorrow with over £100 on them :T :T :T0 -
Today I have spent -
£1.75 on bus fayre (would have walked but its piddling down in torrential) buckets
0.40pence on 4 magazines from a charity shop.
£2.15
..................
So I have had a good spending day today PLUS I worked today as over time - I normally have Saturdays off - SO I have actually made money today. YEHA!!!!
:T0 -
nothing, i did pop into work but mum brought breakfast and some reduced grocerys :rotfl: so nothing :j0

Today I have spent £20. Not bad for a saturday for me.
That would be £15 on a work shirt (reduced from £35 and good make) and then a coffee and cake with a friend.
As I'm being good this evening and not going out for a drink, I feel pretty pleased with myself.0
