How much have/will you spend today Saturday 2/9?

Good morning guys and dolls :D

Feeling quite good - even though a bit hangoverish - this morning. The sun is not shining, the birds are not singing but, everything is good right now. Hope and pray it stays that way.

Today will be a spending day. We're just off to Asda for the weekly shop and then I am going to a friend's for coffee, chat and lots of cakes! :D Not planned anything else after that so will be updating my total spend later on.

Have a fantastic day everyone and, for those at work, hope it goes quickly!

Spent too much yesterday, these early morning threads mean I forget them and then over do it.

    So nothing today.

    Edit to add...

No spender AND got £50.52 back on my card for stuff I bought yesterday and last week (was in dire need of work shoes). And dear little new girl, refunded me back £9 extra :D

  • Have had an expensive few days so will try to not go out today! Having a BBQ tonight hopefully, but have meat in freezer and got reduced rolls and burger buns in Budgens yesterday. Today I've spent £10 so far topping up OH's mobile but hopefully that will be it!

Well, I ended up spending £4.92 on breakfast for both myself and OH. Not bad ;)

OH has now gone food shopping which comes out of the joint account so I'm not counting that for my spending :D

Torrential rain here in West Yorkshire, so I will be resisting the urge to go to Hobbycraft and Costco for another week (*purse heaves sigh of relief*). I can't do my laundry either, as it's showing no sign of easing off, so no pegging out today. Looks like I'm trapped in the house, so I'll make my Christmas cake instead.

  • Spent nothing yesterday but going to spend a lot today.......

Went to have hair done this morning, stopped off at a shop to buy some chewing gum to break into a tenner for the hair dresser's tip = £0.36

Had hair done and it cost £40 (I actually budgeted £60 so in theory saved £14 - I tipped £6 as there were two girls doing my hair and I couldn't tip one and not the other!) = £46

Taking OH out for a meal and drinks tonight for his birthday and then to the cinema so think will be spending roughly £50?

Total expected spend today = £96.36

Might spend some birthday money this afternoon. But just withdrawn £30 from bingos as my quidco enquiry for them has been going on for ages and I needed the money! Had £2 of bingo bonuses left to play with and on my very last bingo game I got a full house! Only £4.56 as I shared it, but I've made that for free!!

    £15 in Tesco

Then I used my argos points from envirophone in Argos to get a digital radio, only had to pay another £5 to it. Bargain!

    I think I'll be having a no-spend day tomorrow :o

It's been a fairly expensive day today but less expensive than it would have been pre-DFW! £40.57 on a weekly shop and £12.00 on posting eBay packages (but obviously the buyers paid for this really).

I'm planning to do some Quidco bingo stuff now and then pop to the gym so a £0 spend afternoon.
