I agree that's outrageous. Have a look on ebay for someone with a secondhand one, or someone with a whole car they're breaking for salvage. Also there are various websites that you put what you want in and they contact various breakers for you to see if they have the part and get you a price.
    http://www.partsgateway.co.uk/ is one such place.
You might struggle for secondhand parts though as its such a new car, not exactly a 10 year old corsa with loads of dead ones knocking around to cannibalise like my mother's car is!

Thanks, I already submitted my request on this page. Waiting now for some replies.

I have tried Ebay but nothing to be found:-(( Loads of glasses, but no covers.

You should have no trouble fitting it yourself they usually just clip into the main mirror assembly. I assume this is the colour coded trim part. You should be able to get a good idea of how it fits by removing the old part.

Yep, I looked at that but the picture doesn't look like my mirror? My mirror has no holes on the back? It's smooth and in black, the same paint as the bodywork of the whole car.
I would post up picture but I don't know how.

But I don't need and they haven't quoted me for COMPLETE MIRROR! It has been said before.

Of course I understand that, I never thought they had quoted for that. I was trying to help but you don't seem to want to listen. Just giving you an idea of the cost for a complete one to weigh against the cost of the cover. Most are painted and not many folks realise the cost untill they have a broken one:eek:

A non original for my Renault is available complete (electric) but not painted for about £75 quid, black covers for about £25, ;)

Welcome to the world of every day motoring, !!!! happens and you pay for it, get used to it
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
