            Meeeeooooooowwwww

Its true
If you've ever had a job dealing with joe public, you'll know exactly how true it is. There are certain people who make you stop and wonder how on earth their brain is developed enough that they've mastered how to open doors (although some people still struggle with pull/push commands
)
Maybe i need to get out of the right side of bed tonight? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Oh, I deal with joe public every day and have done all my working life. My job would be amazing if it wasn't for customers...
I've lost count of the times I have had a customer say to me "I know my rights" my response has usually been "well, obviously you don't" :rotfl:(doesn't tend to go down too well though)
On a side note though, if the door says PUSH, I first try to pull it, just out of sheer curiosity...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Perhaps you are being a little harsh there - my pet hate at the moment are the doors that state "automatic door" when what they really mean is "power assisted". It is hardly surprising that people get confused when they stand there waiting for it to open automatically - and it doesn't !0 -

and then go home????;):rotfl:make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Ohhhh no i like my own bed
it is honestly the comfiest bed ever. I often find i cant sleep if i try and sleep in someone elses LOL
And yeah possibly a little harsh if you take the people in automatic door scenario but those are fairly new and and involve electronics so you can see where the confusion can happen. Normal doors are pretty.......well.......normal :rotfl:You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Bit of a childish comment methinks.
At the end of the day most shops will repair a faulty item during the guarantee period, the need for an engineers report will seldom be required.0 -

I bet there are a few hundred threads on this forum that prove otherwise. Every company has at least 1 unsatisfied customer, heck some have tens of thousands. As the saying goes, cant please everyone.
As for it being childish. Well you say childish, i say truth. If i were being childish i would have called YOU thick. Like i said to mwillets, anyone who has had to deal with the public would know the truth of my statement.
Fact is, never ever say "no one could be that stupid" because i can assure you, there are plenty of idiots out there to prove you wrong. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Trust me I deal with lots of stupid people daily.
My opinion still stands though too many people here quote the SOGA all the time.
But nothing beats actually talking to the store manager in the shop, it's very rare that they will not at least carry out a repair in the warranty period0 -
