Hi, have you sorted this out yet?

We've managed to arrange a villa holiday for a week in August in the Costa del Sol for £1800, including flights from the north of England, for 6 people including our baby.

The key thing we did was to book the villa privately. I've just checked the current price of a Cosmos holiday we did a couple of years ago (similar to this trip, although to be fair it was probably a slightly better villa) and it is over £3000 for the 6 of us.

Both of these prices exclude car hire - but on that point note that Cosmos seem to quote over £300 for a week's car hire whereas if you arrange the car independently you can pay around £150. (I believe Malaga is relatively cheap for car hire anyway).

Yeah he is sorted now, he is travelling to the algarve staying in the Villa Anna in Guia
