Help needed villa wanted in August anywhere

Can anyone help me i want to book a villa with a private pool for 1 week (2nd week of august) i have looked on a few websites and have found the prices to be very expensive £3k including flights. I understand villas can be expensive but didnt think they would be that dear.

Any help would be gratefully received

Have you tried owners direct ?

We've got a villa in Playa Banca ,Lanzorote ,it sleeps 5 and has its own pool.

Its only cost £400 pw - so we are making the most of it and going for a month.

Find a destination with flights you can afford first, then find villa accordingly. In Europe you should be able to find a villa for under £1k.

meon usually work out expensive unless they've got last minute deals. best idea as suggested above is get some flights sorted and then look at accommodation as the flights are usually the trickiest to get at a decnet price. Ryanair have some good prices from leeds/bradford or they did last week when I was looking - i think they had flights to malaga at a good price. we ended up booking return flights to alicante and return from valencia to east midlands for £266 including priority boarding for 15 nights is august. of course you will be more limited with accommodation but you might get a late deal if the villa owner is willing to reduce their prices. in my experience over the last several years it is rarely if ever better to do the flight/villa as a package.

You can get flights with Easyjet from Doncaster to Faro, Portugal £855 for 2 adults + 2 Children 14-21 August.
