I'm afraid I've not done a great deal of flying this week, was at work over 12 hours each day Mon - Weds, Thurs had a Dr appt straight after work, then trip to C&C straight from that - though a good bit of MSE here with bulkbuying of a few things that should last till next year! I was then out last night straight from work and only home at 2 this morning - at a freebie event so more MSE. I had promised myself a chilled day today so that's all I've done, except a minimal bit of tidying and WMx2 and all pegged out, going to catch up with fred, as not read all week, but not made it very far yet, thought I'd post my list to see how I have fared first (as my plan was just keeping things tidy and L1s this is all I've listed unless anything else has been done!).

Hmm it's a good job I did a lot last week and a deep clean of the bathroom last Fri so things aren't looking too bad.

Still I'm not going to worry about it today. Just going to bring washing in and then go to my sisters to check up on her/make her dinner/keep her company as she's not well at the moment.

From what I have seen at the start of the thread welcome back LL and LW sounds like you both had a good time and hope you took it easy this week, hope others who were suffering in last week's heat have also been taking it easy as I think that's whats done for my sis. Carlsberggal your new GD looks beautiful and hope your DD is feeling better. I know I'll have missed lots but apologies I don't mean to but only skimmed so far. Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.
  • The problem with gardening is the more you do, the more you see that needs done...

    I need a gardener and a cleaner.

pigpen given your current condition and the heat I hope the rest of the family can understand and accept why you wont be going to the interrment - dont be bullied inti it.
Valli glad your dates are giving you such happiness - long may it continue honey. (((hugs)))
boddy good luck with GS1 - hope you can talk some sense into him (((hugs)))

was helping at the Community lunch at the cathedral - i was doing the raffle! then there was a wedding of a girl who used to be in the choir - her parents are still regulars and everybody was invited to sit in on the service and share champagne and cake after wards before they headed off to the reception. It was lovely!

I had a little package to collect at the post office and then came home - feel a bit wabbit but not bad.

    toots xx
